Embleton Bay & Low Newton

Surf Spot

Description

Dunstanburgh Castle's ruined towers watch over one of the region's more reliable beach breaks, and because it's a walk from the car it's usually quiet. The open bay picks up northerly swell and offers peaks along its length; Low Newton, tucked into the northern corner, gives a bit of shelter when the wind isn't playing.
